Constellation of Orion

by Leo Boix

To H and N

At night the albatross
from the roof tiles
disappeared
covered sky
the open sea
dormer window dormant
and we knew
at midnight
protected, we went
in clouds
of violet
lunar light
Great Bear constellation
that past
in tassles
for when summer comes
we will open the doors
dress
the tables
people will call
with offerings
and hats
empty spaces fill flowers
To wake
in the tide
marine
night stones
stars
of the deep
Slow wind
sleep in fancy dress
of birds
On the path
Lathyrus
in bloom
Liriopes
the creeper rose
There is time for the upsurge
to look
at the flamy sky
shall cross
thus
the ocean
we will go
between the tides
like animals
towards the exact spot
of our
own
stasis
